Whisky & Words 2024 is taking place on Friday, April 26 at Performance Works on Granville Island.
Whisky & Words is the annual fundraiser of the Vancouver Writers Fest’s year-round programs.
Enjoy unlimited drams of whisky from distilleries around the world, including Scotland, Canada, and Japan, as well as American craft bourbon alongside local craft spirits. Delight in a stellar silent auction while indulging in mouth-watering bites from local Vancouver restaurants and enjoying live music.

By Car
You are able to park in any legal parking spot on Granville Island with Evo car share. If you choose to drive your own vehicle and have a designated driver, parking on Granville Island is free from 6pm–11am. Do not drink and drive.

BY CAR (DESIGNATED DRIVERS ONLY)
Do not drink and drive. If you drove your own vehicle and have a designated driver, you may drive your car home. If you drove your own vehicle and do not have a designated driver, please leave your car parked on Granville Island and use one of the above methods of transportation. Parking is free until 11am so be sure to pick up your vehicle before that time to avoid receiving a parking ticket.
